AMA OCEAN BALL 2019 “Jewels of the Sea” was held on Friday 15th November at Las Ventanas al Paraiso, a Rosewood Resort. The event was hosted by AMA Founder and President, Sonia Falcone, as well as Co-Chairs Tamara Ralph, the renowned fashion designer and co-founder of luxury label Ralph & Russo, and supermodel Christina Estrada. Honorary Chairs T.R.H. Prince Charles-Philppe and Princess Diana of Orleans also lent their support. Sponsors included Nicksan Restaurant, Daniel Espinosa and Gregorio Sanchez. Mexico’s military band, War Band, gave a stunning start to the night before Chad Corvey led a dazzling live auction. Additional acts included and a surprise performance by Bolivian singer and actor Milton Cortez. Representatives from all the marine conservation projects supported by AMA were in attendance and a healthy sum was raised.

LETTER FROM ITTA RODRÍGUEZ AND ALICIA RANGEL, FROM YO RECICLO, AFTER THE AMA OCEAN BALL
Even though is not yet Christmas, to Yo Reciclo it feels like it given the opportunity to be in a beautiful place and gathering with like minded people that share our ideas and goals, who reinforce our belief that we are on the right way, building momentum.
There, We are all one, and One for All, since Fundacion AMA arrived like Santa Claus along with the 3 wise kings, willing to support our efforts to heal the oceans and hence all other ecosystems since they all share the chemical elements that exist on earth, air and star dust as Carl Sagan explained.
We are immensely grateful to be part of that effort, to help push it through and help it grow, but overall to be part of the effort to help strengthen our individual consciousness and social responsibility, as our day to day choices pave the way for the outcome ahead.
