AMA FOUNDATION launched officially on Monday 11th November at Nick-San Palmilla sushi restaurant, San José del Cabo. The event was hosted by AMA Foundation President and Founder Sonia Falcone with Nick-San owner and head chef, siblings Carmen Carbajal and Angel Carbajal. In attendance were all directors of all the marine conservation projects supported by AMA:
Fundacion Iluminame, SyCOMA, Gente Joven Por Un Cambio, Huellas Verdes, Yo Reciclo, Asupmatoma, Building Baja’s Future Los Cabos, ECO-R, Espiritu Santo es parte de Ti, Mar Libre, Cabet Cultura y Ambiente, Rescate de Lobos, Taste Ecologico Cabo San Lucas, and YoReciclo. Special guests who traveled from afar included: Tamara Ralph, the renowned fashion designer and co-founder of luxury label Ralph & Russo, supermodel Christina Estrada, T.R.H. Prince Charles-Philippe and Princess Diana of Orleans and Ella Windsor, Adviser to AMA Foundation. After the presentation of a film about AMA, guests were treated to a delicious dinner provided by Nick-San.
